| Strip Decking Builders Kit The WOODEN NICKEL KAYAKS bead and cove strip builders kit provides the finest precision cut cedar strips, full size mold station drawings, and all of the necessary fiber-glass and epoxy. Our strip decks require no elaborate strongback. The station molds are set inside the fiberglass hull and are temporarily attached to the sheer clamp. Strips are glued to the deck beams fore and aft of the cockpit to help reinforce critical weight bearing areas. Staple holes have been eliminated.
